Where are you located?

We are located on Fremont Avenue. The best landmarks to find us are El Dorado Beach, Inn By the Lake and Bear Beach Cafe. Turn on Fremont Avenue at Bear Beach Cafe and we are located directly behind them on Fremont Avenue.

What hours are you open for open play?

We typically have availability for Open Play everyday at different times. Please check out the Tahoe Bowl Event Calendar for what is happening or give us a call at (530) 544-3700 to check availability.

Is there normally a wait to get lanes?

We get quite busy at different times of the year. If you happen to look outside and see snow or rain coming down, we probably have a wait for lanes. Sometimes the wait can be quite long and our policy is "first come, first served". Please be sure to call ahead for availability.

What type of services do you provide?

We are a full service 16 lane bowling center with a full service Sports Bar, for all of your sports viewing pleasure. The Lane 17 Sports Bar also has a video jukebox and one coin operated pool table. We have a full service Pro Shop. An appointment is needed to visit the Pro Shop. We have a small arcade that usually has 6 to 7 video games. And last but not least we are privileged to have Blue Dog Gourmet Pizza here at Tahoe Bowl.

What type of equipment do you have?

We currently have Brunswick Vector Scoring, AMF synthetic lanes and Brunswick A-2
pinsetters.

Does Lane 17 Sports Bar have a happy hour?

We do not have a Happy Hour! However, we do have monthly and weekly specials.
Please see our Event Calendar for Specials. We currently have 10 beers on tap and a
whole array of alcohols to choose from.

When do you have open lanes?

We are the only bowling center for 30 miles, so we are quite busy most of the time. During the winter (September to April) we have leagues Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 6pm—9pm. We typically have open lanes Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays all day and the rest of the week after 9pm, however we do have many other functions that may take up the entire facility on these nights so please call ahead for availability. Do you take reservations?

We do not take reservations. However, if you call (530) 544-3700 prior to arriving you can check the status of availability of lanes. If our wait list is less than 1 hour we will place your name on the list.

Do you have parties at Tahoe Bowl?

Yes, we host many parties including birthday parties, team building, corporate or
business outings, wedding rehearsals, bachelor or bachelorette, team sports functions, holiday parties and many others. Whatever the occasion we will work to accommodate your group or groups and help make your party a success. Tahoe Bowl can accommodate as few as 10 and as many as 125.

What type of leagues do you have?

We offer Youth Leagues, morning leagues, evening leagues and senior leagues. All of our leagues are mixed handicapped leagues. Please view our Leagues page for more information.

What is the cost for bowling and do you have any days that are less expensive?

All of our games of bowling are per person per game. We have several prices and they depend upon the day and time. Sundays are the deuces wild days, where bowling is $2.00 per person per game and shoe rental is $2.00 per pair. Please visit our open play schedule page for prices and hours of operation.

Do you have bumper bowling?

Yes! We have bumpers on all 16 lanes.
