Tahoe Bowl opened its doors to the public for the very first time in August of 1959. At the time it was located on Beachwalk Avenue, now Fremont Avenue, in beautiful Bijou, California, now known as South Lake Tahoe. When Tahoe Bowl opened it was the largest and most luxurious indoor entertainment venue on the South Shore, with the exception of the adult oriented Casinos at Stateline. We are still Tahoe’s Favorite Family Fun Center and the only bowling center in South Lake Tahoe.

Tahoe Bowl has seen many changes throughout its years. Most recently we installed a new air conditioning and heating system to keep our wonderful guests and staff cool in the summer and warm in the winter. We also offer 16 lanes of bowling on synthetic lanes, Brunswick Vector Computerized Scoring, bumpers for the children, Lane 17 Sports Bar to catch all the games and enjoy your favorite beverage, Blue Dog Gourmet Pizza with its doggone crazy deals, an arcade for all and a pro shop to order all your bowling accessories and to get your personal ball fitted to your hand or repaired.
